Two is a really fun age. Personality traits and interests and likes and dislikes really start to shine through. I only have one child of my own so far, but when I have another one, it'll be fun to see how differently he/she develops compared to Beau.
I have been really trying to get used to the "world of boys" over the past two years. I have embraced messiness and rough-housing and slobbery kisses. But I canNOT keep up with all there is to learn about trucks and tractors and, now, TRAINS.
Thomas the Tank Engine is usually on during nap time, so Beau rarely gets to watch it (not that we watch all that much TV around here anyway). But he has cousins and friends with seemingly unlimited train Thomas train and track collections! So he's into it now, too.
Thank goodness for Daddy. Since daddies are boys, too, they just seem to know all that stuff! :)
